McClain Marketing Group Teams With Androscoggin Bank for Re-branding Initiative

Agency Launches Innovative Campaign With Intrigue

PORTLAND, Maine—Nov. 1, 2007—As selected agency of record, McClain Marketing Group, a strategic marketing solutions firm headquartered in Portland, today announced it is assisting Androscoggin Bank in its re-branding initiative with the campaign recently rolled out in September 2007 and continuing through 2008.

The initial component of the re-branding included The Name Game® contest with prizes awarded for guessing famous inventors in Maine ending with revealing Androscoggin Bank as one of these innovators. The contest generated a tremendous buzz throughout the state and received thousands of entries. A grand prizewinner of a 2007 Harley Davidson was announced at the end of September.

Going forward, the integrated marketing campaign will include 14 unique custom-designed ATM kiosks for each branch, new brochures and collateral, print, radio and television advertisements as well as other components that create awareness around the new brand.
