Creative Concept
The creative concept behind the campaign was to position Androscoggin Bank as a pioneer in the financial services industry in Maine.
Execution
Using a computer generated desktop scene as the backdrop, McClain placed items on it that moved in one direction and then suddenly moved in an unexpected way illustrating that Androscoggin Bank is a solution-based, forward thinking business that can help move its customer in a new, positive financial direction.
The first ad manipulates Newton's Cradle, an iconic devise with a well-known manner of movement, to swing in a different direction illustrating the point that Androscoggin Bank can think in a different direction and develop financial solutions based on consumers needs.
The second ad in the series showcases the advancements in technology with the shift of a record player into a digital player. This ad emphasizes that the Bank is on the forefront of technology and implements cutting-edge and revolutionary methods to ensure the most efficient and secure financial transactions for its customers.
The final ad takes a traditional children's toy, a top, reverses its spin and morphs it into a more modern version. This ad exemplifies the Bank's new, more modern logo and outward appearance within the communities it serves.
Results
When run in conjunction with one another as book ends, the :15 second ad series resonated with viewers and helped increase awareness and preference for Androscoggin Bank.
