McClain Marketing Group Earns Accolades With A Telly Award

PORTLAND, Maine—August 5, 2008—McClain Marketing Group, a strategic marketing solutions firm, today announced that it received a bronze award at the 29th Annual Telly Awards for its Innovation Launch Advertising Campaign on behalf of Androscoggin Bank, based in Lewiston, Maine.

“We are delighted to be recognized with such a prestigious award for our work on behalf of Androscoggin Bank’s re-branding initiative,” said Sue-Ellen McClain, president, McClain Marketing. “On a larger scale, this honor reinforces that the creative economy in Maine is thriving and continues to produce effective, smart creative with the capacity to compete against national and international agencies.”

The Androscoggin Bank Innovation Campaign consisted of three, 15-second television spots that were placed as bookends on Fox 23, Time Warner Cable, WCSH, WGME and WMTW over the course of the fourth quarter of 2007.

“The creative concept behind the campaign was to position Androscoggin Bank as a pioneer in the financial services industry in Maine,” explained Bob Perkins, creative director, McClain Marketing. “Using a computer generated desktop scene as the backdrop, McClain placed iconic items on it that moved in one direction and then suddenly moved in an unexpected way illustrating that Androscoggin Bank is a solution-based, forward thinking business that can help move its customer in a new, positive financial direction.”
