Erik Neilson
Erik is no stranger to hard work. Through years of cooking professionally, he has learned the importance of humility and showing pride in the end result, and brings to McClain the focus on presentation and details that he honed in kitchens across New England. His motto? "Cook for others, not for your ego."
As production manager, Erik is able to maintain this philosophy outside of a professional kitchen. Along with maintaining the flow of the agency, Erik is heavily involved in every production-related project at McClain from start to finish. His keen eye for detail ensures that nothing leaves the building until it has reached perfection. A firm believer in teamwork as well as leadership, there is virtually no task he feels uncomfortable taking on.
Erik holds a B.A. in sociology from the University of Vermont. A passionate musician and lifelong epicurean, he resides in Portland, where the shift in tides remains a constant inspiration to his creativity.
